Gold Coast is a coastal city in Queensland, Australia. It is bout 66 km south-east of Queensland state capital and the largest city Brisbane. It is just few kilometers north of the border of New South Wales. Gold Coast with estimated population of about 600,000 it is the largest no capital city of Australia.
Gold Coast is a popular tourist destinations with plenty of sunny subtropical climate, surfing beaches, high rise skyline, theme park and night life. It was originally known as South Coast as it was south of Brisbane. But due to high prices for real estate, good and services led to nickname “Gold Coast” in the 1950.
