Independent schools and Catholic schools do base their holidays and term dates on state school dates but again these can vary from school to school. Please check directly with your local school to find the correct school holiday dates.
Some schools in Far North Queensland and Western Queensland start the summer holiday 1 week before other QLD state schools.
